Premises Licence Reviews

The relevant authorities and local residents ("Interested Parties") have the right to trigger a review of any existing premises licence if they feel its operation is causing harm to the four licensing objectives, which are

prevention of crime & disorder
public safety
prevention of public nuisance
protection of children from harm

If you get notice of a review you must act fast. Representations can be made within 28 days. It will be important to get written representations submitted to the licensing authority from experts who can review the cause of the complaint (eg noise or crime) and from your customers or other residents who support your business on its current licence terms.
